(Re game recap): “We scored all of the goals the same way. Going in front of the net; stopping around the net. Rebound plays, they’re all capable of doing that…It was good for the guys. We got [scoring] from all the lines…That’s how most of the goals are scored. Rebound and guys around the net…Everybody sees the highlight reels and thinks that’s how [it happens], but it’s not like that in this league.”
(Re Johnson Tebow celebration): “If we could all play like Tebow in a big game, we wouldn’t have lost a game yet.”
(Re Bernier): “He didn’t have a lot of work…He bounced back from an early goal, but other than that it was more of a team thing.”
(Re rebounding after loss): “We had a heck of an effort Saturday too. Everybody bases it on wins or losses. A lot of times when you lose, you’re winning. We just have to stay with it and figure it out and not let anything else come in [our] way.”

(Re game recap): “It’s a great feeling to give our goalie some breathing room finally. They’ve been playing out of this world all year. It’s nice to kind of give them a break here finally.”
(Re ‘Tebow’ celebration): “Have some fun while you’re scoring. I was watching the Broncos game with some buddies that flew in from Michigan and they said that if you score, you have to ‘Tebow’. I said, ‘You’re on!’”
(Re intensity against Capitals): “It’s fun, it’s refreshing to play a team like that. Everyone wants to see new teams and I thought it was a fun hockey game.”
(Re playing against Ovechkin): “It’s fun to play against guys like that. It’s just as much fun for us to play against him as it is for fans to watch him. He’s a great player and it’s fun to play a team we don’t see very much.”
(Re game recap): “We were going hard to the net, so it was nice to get rewarded.”
(Re Johnson’s ‘Tebow’ celebration): “Yeah I saw that. That was pretty funny.”

(Re game recap): “They came out pretty hard on us and they fore-checked us hard. We came out in the first few shifts and Johansson scored, but they out-hit us tonight. We didn’t play tough enough against them and it happens.”
(Re giving up chances): “We made some bad decisions [like] pinching in the neutral zone. When you pinch you have to be 100 percent sure that you get the puck and we made some bad decisions. When they pinch they came right back on us with a 3-on-1 and put it in the net.”

(Re game recap): “I don’t think it’s all about me; it’s all about us. We wanted to have a good start and we had a good start. Two mistakes cost us almost the whole game—Wideman lost a guy in our zone and he got a goal and Laich lost a puck. I’m not calling out only these two guys, I had mistakes in our zone and everybody had mistakes in our zone and that cost us the game.”
(Re overall team performance tonight): “I think we had a pretty good start. We had emotion and we scored the first goal. After that we just stopped playing and my line had a couple of chances. Including that, we didn’t do anything in the offensive zone and I think there was communication in the neutral zone and we started playing in the defensive zone.”
(Re power plays): “If you score on power plays it’s a big advantage and you have to use it. Today we had only two power plays and on the second one we had a pretty good chance to score.”

No practice tomorrow (next practice is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Toyota Sports Center
