Ontario Adds Two Forwards

ONTARIO, Calif. – The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings and AHL Manchester Monarchs, announced today that they have signed left wing Todd Jackson and rookie forward Dan Leslie to standard player contracts for the 2009-2010 season.

Jackson, 28, returns to Ontario for his sixth professional season. Last season, the Cortland, New York native played 57 games with the Reign, putting up 29 points and 14 goals, and spending 51 minutes in the bin.

Leslie, 22, will be making his professional debut with the Reign in the upcoming season. During two seasons from 2007-2009, the forward from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba appeared in 107 games with the Columbus Cottonmouths (SPHL), scoring 19 points and nine goals. Leslie led the team in penalty minutes both seasons that he donned a Cottonmouths sweater, racking up a total of 452 minutes in penalties.
