Monarchs Announce Front Office Changes

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have promoted Kimberly Mueller to Vice President of Public Affairs and Amanda Jensen to Design and Game Operations Manager, and hired Aaron Bradley as a Group Tickets Account Executive, Jon-Paul Gillespie as a Season Tickets Account Executive and Griffin Spencer as the Public Relations and Community Relations Coordinator, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced today.

“Kim has been a key factor in the success we’ve enjoyed as an organization and she’s ready for this new challenge,” Monarchs General Manager Ron Hextall said.  “She’s a tireless worker, a team player, she’s well connected in the Monarchs community and she’s steadily worked her way up through the organization after starting as a public relations assistant with the club in 2003.”

“Kim has shown a level of professionalism that is unmatched in our league,” said Abbott.  “She is definitely ready for this challenge and well deserving of the opportunity to join our senior management team.”

Mueller joined the Monarchs staff as the Public Relations Coordinator in September 2003 and worked her way up the corporate ladder to her current role of Vice President of Public Affairs.  A native of St. Louis, Missouri, she graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Business.  A graduate of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Manchester Class of 2008, Mueller will continue to head up the public relations department as she takes over the Monarchs Care Foundation, as well as manages marketing and game presentation within the organization.

“I have seen many accomplishments with the Monarchs both on and off the ice over the last eight seasons and I am excited to take on this new challenge within the organization,” said Mueller.  “Cheryl (Abbott) has built the Monarchs Care Foundation into an elite charity in New Hampshire and I’m thrilled at the opportunity to continue her great work with the city of Manchester and surrounding communities.”

Jensen, a native of Windham, New Hampshire, joined the Monarchs in December of 2007 as the team’s Graphic Designer.  A 2007 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, Jensen will continue to design the marketing collateral for the organization while she oversees the game presentation department.

Bradley and Gillespie joined the Monarchs on a part time basis in June as Inside Ticket Sales Representatives and have now moved into full time roles in their respective sales departments within the organization.  A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Bradley is a 2009 graduate of Xavier University and was a four-year member of their hockey club.  He will be a member of the Monarchs group sales team.

Gillespie is a former United States Marine and a native of Miami, Florida.  He has worked in sales and customer service for 14 years and will be a member of the Monarchs season tickets team.

Spencer joins the Monarchs full time after serving as a public relations intern since September of 2009.  A native of North Reading, Massachusetts, he is graduating from Southern New Hampshire University in December with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Information and will join the Monarchs on a full time basis at the end of the month.

The Monarchs return to the ice on Friday, December 3 with a 7:00 p.m. match-up with the Norfolk Admirals at the Verizon Wireless Arena.  Catch all of the play-by-play action of Monarchs hockey with Ken Cail on the Monarchs Radio Network WGAM 900/1250 AM and at
