LISTEN: Dean Lombardi Trade-Deadline Conference Call

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings

Nothing of groundbreaking proportions, but the Kings were active leading up to the final moments of the NHL’s 2016 Trade Deadline.

General Manager Dean Lombardi made a trio of moves, acquiring defenseman Rob Scuderi from the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, forward Kris Versteeg from the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday, and forward Brett Sutter from the Minnesota Wild on Monday.

All in all, the Kings picked up the three players for defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, prospects Valentin Zykov and Scott Sabourin, and a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
