Kings News's Plays of the Week

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings has selected our favorite plays of the week, now it's your turn.

The Kings played three games during the week, posting a 2-1 mark with a 2-1 loss to the Sharks, a 4-3 shootout win over Buffalo and a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Detroit to start a five-game road trip.

Kings' forward Wayne Simmonds scores the Kings' lone goal of the night against the San Jose Sharks, showcasing the hard-work and effort he is known for with a backhand goal while falling down.
In a matchup of Team USA teammates, Kings' forward Dustin Brown beats Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller with a nice move to give the Kings the lead in the shootout.
Kings' defenseman Sean O'Donnell scores just his second goal of the season, a slapshot from the blue line with less than a minute remaining in the second period to tie the game.
Kings' forward Brad Richardson, the "Hot Man" as Detroit play-by-play broadcaster referred to him as, scores the game-winning goal against the Red Wings to start off the road trip with a win.
With the Kings leading Detroit on the road by one late in the third period, Kings' goaltender Jonathan Quick makes a great save on a shot by an open Dan Cleary to maintain the Kings' lead.
