LAKings.com's Plays of the Week

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings

LAKings.com has selected our favorite plays of the week, now it's your turn.

The Kings played three games during the week and lost all three games by one goal, 2-1 to the Red Wings, 4-3 to St. Louis and 2-1 to the Sharks on Monday.

SMYTH DOIN' WORK
Kings' forward Ryan Smyth lived up to his reputation for scoring goals close to the net with a goal off a rebound that tied the game against the Detroit Red Wings 1-1 late in the third period. Unfortunately, the Kings would fall 2-1.

BROWN DELIEVERS
Kings' captain Dustin Brown starts a late rally against the St. Louis Blues with a pretty shot in the slot that beats St. Louis goaltender Chris Mason.

LIGHTNING QUICK
In a game with few bright spots for Jonathan Quick, the Kings' goaltender makes a great save on a shot by St. Louis' Andy McDonald to keep it a 1-0 game.

ONE-TIME JONES
Down 2-0 to the rival San Jose Sharks, Kings' defenseman Randy Jones pulls the Kings to within one with a one-timer off a rebound to beat San Jose goaltender Evgeni Nabokov.

NOT SO FAST HEATLEY
San Jose forward Dany Heatley thinks he has a sure goal but Kings' goaltender Erik Ersberg thinks differently, making a great save to keep the game 1-0.
