Kings Wives Annual Toy and Food Drive

Saturday, November 25 vs. Calgary Flames
Monday, November 27 vs. New Jersey Devils
Saturday, December 2 vs. Anaheim Ducks
Thursday, December 7 vs. Nashville Predators


The Kings Wives/Kings Care Foundation will be hosting their annual Toy and Food drive beginning on Saturday, Nov. 25, as part of the Kings-Calgary game at STAPLES Center.

Kings wives/girlfriends and volunteers will collect toys and food at the entrances of STAPLES Center prior to home games on Nov. 25 (7:30 p.m.), Nov. 27 (7 p.m.), Dec. 2 (1 p.m.) and Dec. 7 (7:30 p.m.). Proceeds from the collection will benefit Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Children's Hospital Los Angeles and other local charities.

Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is a private, nonprofit, charitable organization that has been serving the disadvantaged community for 33 years. Over the years, the food bank has grown in size, service and scope. Today it provides food for more than 1,000 member agency sites including abused and abandoned children homes, battered women shelters, senior centers, local food pantries, soup kitchens, AIDS hospices and more.

Children's Hospital Los Angeles has been treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more than a century, and it is acknowledged throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. Founded in 1901,its mission is to advance the health and well-being of children and adolescents by integrating medical care, preventive services, medical education and research in response to the needs of the community and in an atmosphere of love, compassion and respect for people.
