Kings “Rink Royalty Partnership” Donation To Local Hockey Rinks

On Wednesday July 20th the Los Angeles Kings presented local hockey rinks in their “Rink Royalty Partnership” donations totaling $23,500, all of which will go directly toward youth hockey initiatives at the participating rinks. During the 2010/11 hockey season 18 local ice and inline rinks participated in the “Rink Royalty Partnership”. The program is designed to help promote the sport of hockey throughout the Southern California community.

The donation was presented during a luncheon at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, hosted by the Kings Fan Development Department and included Kings President, Business Operations Luc Robitaille, assistant coach Jamie Kompon and Radio Color Commentator Daryl Evans.

This is the fifth straight year the Kings have run the “Rink Royalty Partnership” and presented local rinks donations for their youth hockey initiatives.
