LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman Jon Klemm from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi today announced.
Klemm, 37, has not played for the Kings this season. He has played in 17 games this season with Manchester, where he has served as captain, and has zero points and 16 penalty minutes. The 6-2, 205-pound native of Cranbrook, British Columbia, is a veteran of 14 NHL seasons, and he has recorded 142 points (42-100=142) and 426 penalty minutes in 751 career NHL games.
The Kings play the Ducks tonight at Anaheim at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KTLK AM 1150, along the Kings Radio Network and on FSN Prime Ticket (Ducks broadcast).
