Kings, Ducks Take Rivalry to the Poker Table

On April 7th San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, the official casino of the LA Kings, will host the inaugural Rivalry Hold ‘Em Poker Challenge, a charity poker tournament starring alumni from the Kings, the Anaheim Ducks and other NHL teams.  Proceeds collected from the registration fees of all participating Kings fans will benefit the Kings Care Foundation and the Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association presented by Toyota, while the registration fees collected from Ducks fans will benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.

The Kings vs. Ducks rivalry moves from the ice to the felt.  At the Tournament, poker players will be split into Kings fans and Ducks fans.  Kings fans will wear purple shirts emblazoned with the Kings crown while Ducks fans will wear orange shirts emblazoned with the Ducks symbol.

$10,000 will be given away in cash prizes.  Cost to participate in the event is $25 per person.  Five runners-up will receive an autographed Kings or Ducks jersey and other memorabilia.

Check-in for the tournament begins at 3 p.m. at Bingo Admissions – just outside the poker showroom at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino.  The tournament will begin at 7 p.m.  An After Party will take place at The Pines Steakhouse from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
