LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings and Kings President, Business Operations Luc Robitaille have announced the following promotions and new staff hires:

Chris McGowan has been named Chief Marketing Officer from his most recent position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. McGowan, now in his 12th year with the Kings, now primarily directs all the Kings’ revenue streams and oversees the staff that works specifically on Kings Business Operations, including Ticket Sales, Customer Service, Premium Seat Sales, Group Sales, Tele Marketing, Ticket Operations, Marketing & Promotions, Fan Development and Game Entertainment. He is also responsible for all Kings branding and marketing initiatives for the team including the development of all Kings advertising campaigns and strategies to create brand awareness for the Kings in Los Angeles.

Michael Altieri has been named Vice President, Communications and Corporate Development from his most recent position of Vice President, Communications and Broadcasting. Altieri, now in his 13th season with the Kings, is now in charge of the development of as a high-end content vehicle while working closely with Robitaille and McGowan in assisting the day-to-day business operations of various departments. Additionally, Altieri continues to oversee all aspects of communications and broadcasting.

Jennifer Weinstein has been hired as the Kings’ Manager, Community Relations. She officially joins the Kings on September 3 after spending five years at the NBA offices in New York with NBA Cares. Weinstein will oversee the Kings Care Foundation and manage the Foundation’s day-to-day activities. Additionally, she will work to develop new community outreach programs and direct all of the club’s efforts in the community.

Bryan Stratte has been hired as the Kings’ Video Editor. A newly created position, Stratte, who joins the Kings with a resume that includes work directing narrative drama, TV pilots, documentaries, commercials, corporate events, music videos, promotional films and corporate industrials, will work primarily for, where he will focus on capturing creative video with the club’s players and staff as part of the Kings’ website efforts to re-invent itself as the top NHL team website.

“Our organization has worked very hard this summer to create a strong management team as it relates to the business side of our club,” said Robitaille. “We feel that these important staff additions and promotions will help the Kings reach our goal of being the best franchise in the NHL.”

Jeff Moeller has been named Senior Director, Communications from his most recent position of Director, Communications. Moeller, now in his 11th season with the Kings, directs all day-to-day media operations, publicity, media information and publications for the club. He also is responsible for editorial content for

Kelly Cheeseman has been named Senior Director, Sales and Service from his most recent position of Director, Sales and Service. Cheeseman, who is now in his seventh season with the Kings, is responsible for all ticket sales and customer service for the club.

Matt Rosenfeld has been named Senior Director, Group Sales from his most recent position of Director, Group Sales. Rosenfeld, who is now in his eighth season with the Kings, continues to lead all group sales efforts for the Kings.

James Cefaly has been named Director, Fan Development and Community Relations from his most recent position of Manager, Fan Development. Cefaly, who is in his fifth season with the Kings, now oversees the day-to-day management of the Kings Care Foundation and all of the club’s fan development and youth hockey initiatives.

In addition, the Kings today, in a prior announcement, named Heidi Androl as Special Events Host where she will serve as the primary on-air personality for and “Kings Vision,” the site’s new signature online Video network, and Tom Murray, an Emmy Award-winning anchor, reporter and producer with more than 15 years of television news experience, has joined the Kings as an on-air/features contributor for
