LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Alexei Ponikarovsky from the injured reserve list, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Ponikarovsky, 30, suffered an upper-body injury on November 6 at STAPLES Center during the Kings’ victory against Nashville. He was placed on the injured reserve list on November 16 (retroactive to November 7) and has missed the Kings’ last 12 games).
In 13 games this season, his first with the Kings, he has four points (2-2=4) and 10 penalty minutes.
The Kings (15-10-0 and winners of two games in a row) continue their four-game homestand tonight, Thursday, against Calgary at 7:30 p.m. The Kings then host Minnesota on Saturday with both airing on FS West, KTLK 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network.
