LOS ANGELES – The LOS ANGELES KINGS BUD LIGHT GOLF TOURNAMENT, which was held yesterday at the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Conference Resort in City of Industry, raised $150,000 the Kings announced today. The Tournament featured Kings players, coaches, executives, alumni and broadcasters.

All proceeds benefit the Kings Care Foundation, the non-profit award-winning children’s charity of the Los Angeles Kings and KaBOOM!, a national non-profit organization that envisions a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America. Later in the season, the LA Kings and KaBOOM! will partner to build a brand new playground for the children of greater Los Angeles.

A field of 36 teams competed in a scramble format and prizes were awarded at nearly every hole. The foursome’s featuring Kings forwards Derek Armstrong and Alexander Frolov were the winning teams. The day concluded with a cocktail reception, “Feast for Kings” dinner, an exciting awards ceremony that featured an exceptional silent auction.
