BLAKE GETS RECORD, AGAIN

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
Kings captain/defenseman Rob Blake is scheduled to tomorrow set a new franchise record for most games played by a Kings defenseman as part of the Kings-Edmonton Oilers game in Edmonton. Blake is slated to play in his 781st game as a King, which would break the mark set by Mattias Norstrom (Blake had previously held the record of 662 games until Norstrom surpassed that mark in November of 2005).

The Kings begin a three-game road trip tomorrow, Tuesday, at Edmonton. The game, which begins at 6 p.m. (PT), will be broadcast on KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network. The Kings then continue to Calgary (Friday at 6 p.m. PT) and Vancouver (Saturday at 7 p.m.) with those games airing on KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network as well.
