The Islanders conclude their road trip on Saturday when they face the first place Dallas Stars for the first of two meetings this season.
Dallas has won the last four meetings between the teams, with the Isles going 0-2-2 in the four contests. The Islanders will face Dynasty-child Eric Nystrom. Nystrom, acquired by waivers in October, has nine goals this season for the Stars.
The Isles will be looking to extend their point streak to four, all on the road. The last time the Isles earned a point in four consecutive road games was on December 16, 2009-January 6, 2010 (3-0-1).
