Team White capped another comeback victory over Team Blue on Monday during the 2007 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp at the Olympic Center.
Islanders 2006 draft picks Rhett Rakhshani
(4th round, 100th overall) scored the opening tally and Kyle Okposo
(1st round, 7th overall) compiled two assists to help lift Team White to a 4-3 win over Team Blue. Team White and Team Blue are comprised of 45 of the top U.S. players under the age of 20.
Rakhshani opened the scoring in the first period with a shorthanded goal at the 9:41 mark. Okposo earned an assist on the goal and set up Team White's power play, game-winner with only 41 seconds remaining in the contest.
On Sunday at the Olympic Center, Rakhshani and 2006 draft selection Doug Rogers (4th round, 110th overall) each scored for their respective teams as Team White was victorious 7-6 after outscoring Team Blue 4-0 in the third period.
University of Denver's Rakhshani started Team White's four-goal, third-period outburst by tallying at 4:24 of the final frame. Earlier, Team Blue's Rogers evened the score at two with 2:55 remaining in the first period.
The two U.S. squads, which also include Islanders 2006 draft pick Brian Day (6th round, 161st overall), will now face off against Under-20 teams from Finland and Sweden in a series of eight international scrimmages, beginning today. Team Blue will take on Team Finland at 4 pm, while Team White will face Team Sweden at 7 pm. Both games will be played at the Olympic Center.

Championship, Dec. 26, 2007-Jan. 5, 2008, in Pardubice and Liberec, Czech Republic.
