The Official Site of the New York Islanders

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
In Greg Logan's most recent blog entry that can only be seen on, he speaks to the Islanders' Senior VP of Sales, Marketing and Operations Chris Dey about the direction of the franchise.

Dey talks about the strides the Islanders made in business in his first season with the Islanders and the team’s future plans. Dey tells Logan that he, Garth Snow and Ted Nolan will have a series of forums that will provide an in-depth look at the team’s vision.

“What [fans] deserve is they need to see what the plan is,” Dey tells Logan. “Once they see where you’re going, then, they’ll embrace it because they’ll see how you’re building on that plan. It might take three years to fully execute the plan. But as long as they know where you’re going and what the plan is, then, they can see how each and every move is getting you closer to that."
