Where/When:
The Islanders are on Long Island tonight and play gets underway at 7 p.m. Tonight's game is on MSG+. Channel Finder

Visnovsky: Lubomir Visnovsky is close to a return according to Head Coach Jack Capuano.

Capuano: Tonight was a night that he was probably real close. I foresee him here in the next couple of days.

Vanek Returns: Thomas Vanek returns to Nassau Coliseum for the first time since being dealt from the Islanders at last year’s trade deadline. Vanek is also red-hot right now for the Wild, riding an eight-game point streak (six goals, four assists). He said he had fond memories of his time on Long Island.

Vanek: Even though it was a short stint, I’ve only had good memories and good things to say. I wish the team would stay here on the island and not move, but other than that, I had a great time. It’s a building I didn’t like coming to, but once I was here, now it’s one of my favorite buildings. The fans are great here, the building gets loud.

Running Wild: The Wild have won nine straight games on the road and are 21-5-1 overall since the all-star break.
