Islanders goaltender Joey MacDonald spent Friday afternoon - his last day cruising around with the I.C.E. Tour - at a place no trip to Long Island would be complete without - the beach! The caravan of I.C.E. Tour vehicles made its way down to the West Bath House of Jones Beach and set up a fun filled area complete with music, inflatables, the Islanders RV, video games, and of course, a chance to chat with MacDonald. Joey and the Ice Girls then walked along the shore of the beach, meeting fans of all ages. Joey even helped a few children bury their siblings in the sand. Each child Joey met received an autographed picture, as well as a ticket voucher that could be redeemed for a game during the upcoming season. "It's beautiful down here," commented Joey as he strolled along the water. "Talking to the fans down here, they seem ready for the season to begin. It's going to be exciting."
