Hi. My name is Kerri Burke. I am a mother of three. Victoria (7), Declan (2 1/2), and Bridget (1 1/2). I have been with my husband Kevin for almost 19 years. On June 10, 2011, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. It was in my right breast. I was told in June that I am treatable, not cureable. Two weeks later, I stared Chemotherapy. After eight sessions (16 weeks), I started redoing tests so I could meet with surgeons to have the tumor and lymph nodes removed. After having many tests, I was told last Friday that I have NO ACTIVE CANCER on the right side of my body. Unfortunately something, still not sure what, has popped up on my left side now. Throughout everything, I worked, took my kids to school, dance, ice skating, swimming and girl scout meetings. I feel I have a good attidude because with out it you can not get through this. I don't know what my outcome will be, but I will fight everyday.
