We all got to Quebec City today without any problems, arriving at the arena around 9:00 a.m.
During the first two minutes of our 11:00 game, we were awarded a penalty shot. We didn’t score but the game quickly escalated in our favor and we had a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period. Our team ended up winning the game 5-1.
We all headed to Colisee Pepsi to register as a team and check in. I swear our boys were more worried about the pins and the girls than anything else. They tell me they are at the age where they like girls! They continued to trade pins and a couple hours later we went to dinner with all of the billet families and New York families before splitting up. It was a really great bonding moment.
Tomorrow we have our first Winter Classic at 10:30 a.m. against the Flyers!
