I.C.E. Tour Celebrates End of School Year

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders

The Islanders’ I.C.E. Tour stopped at Parliament Place Elementary in North Babylon this evening to join in the celebration that was being thrown by the school’s after school program to kick off summer vacation. The Almost Home Program, which is designed to provide children with a safe and fun place to be after school hours while their parents are still at work, threw its annual end of the year celebration and invited the Islanders to join in on the fun. The I.C.E. Tour joined the party by bringing all of their interactive inflatables with them as well as some special guests. All the children had a blast as they raced through the inflatable obstacle course, took their hardest shot in the slap shot booth, or just hopped around for awhile in the moonbounce. Special guests included a favorite to many kids, Sparky the Dragon and some of his lovely friends from the Ice Girls. The party was great fun for everyone and an even better way to kick off the fact that summer vacation is just days away!
