UNIONDALE, NY, July 14, 2011 – The New York Islanders announced today that forward Jeremy Colliton has agreed to terms on a one year, two-way (NHL/AHL) contract.

Colliton, 25, scored two goals and one assist in 15 games last year with the Islanders during his sixth professional season. The Blackie, AB, native also posted 45 points (18 goals, 27 assists) in 53 American Hockey League games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers to become the club’s all-time leading scorer with 176 points (66 goals, 110 assists) in 285 games.
