With hockey season just around the corner, the Islanders are offering fans the unique opportunity to meet their favorite players before the 2011-12 season.
The team will hold its third annual Islanders Children’s Foundation Day at Adventureland Amusement Park in Farmingdale on Sunday, Oct. 2. This special family event not only provides generous donations to the ICF, but also gives fans access to all players and coaches as well as unlimited access to all rides in the park from open until close.
Season ticket holders can enter the park starting at 9 a.m. and will be given exclusive access to an autograph session with the players from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Admission bracletes are a $20 donation to the ICF.
All other Islanders fans can arrive at the park at 11 a.m. and will also have the chance to meet the players and get autographs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For all interested fans, bracelets will be $25.
While bracelets are no longer available online, you may still purchase bracelets at the park the morning of the event. For more information, please call 1-800-882-ISLES, extension 4, or email Community Relations Manager Ann Rina at Ann.Rina@newyorkislanders.com
