In New York for the upcoming UN Delegation meetings, Slovakian President Ivan Gasparovic visited the Nassau Coliseum tonight to catch an Islanders game. Koger USA, the world leader in fund administration software, hosted President Gasparovic in an executive suite.

An avid hockey fan, President Gasparovic grew up in the same town of Islanders forward Miroslav Satan in Topolcany, Slovakia. After the first period, he was welcomed to Long Island by Islanders owner Charles Wang and general manager Garth Snow.

Following the game, President Gasparovic and his friends from Koger USA visited Satan and were given a tour of the Islanders locker room. Satan recorded a welcome video for the President that was played on the Coliseum scoreboard during the second period.

"It is always a proud moment to play in front of the President of your country," said Satan. "It was a privilege to greet President Gasparovic after the game and I’d also like to thank Koger USA for making it happen."
