AARON JOHNSON, SPARKY, AND ICE GIRLS ATTEND MARTY LYONS FOUNDATION DINNER

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders

On Monday night from 7pm to 9pm, Aaron Johnson, Sparky, and some of the Ice Girls went to the Marriot Hotel in Melville to be a part of the huge Marty Lyons Foundation Dinner.  The dinner was filled with all sorts of mascots and characters, from Sparky to Big Bird to Santa Claus and also has professional athletes from a variety of different sports.  Aaron Johnson was proud to represent the Islanders at the event and sign autographs for everyone in attendance while Sparky and the Ice Girls also had fun with the children in attendace.  The Marty Lyons Foundation was established in 1982 to fulfill the special wishes of children chronologically aged three (3) to seventeen (17) years old, who have been diagnosed as having a terminal or life threatening illness by providing and arranging special wish requests.  To learn more about the Marty Lyons Foundation, click here.
