Morrisville, N.C. telecommunications's company Tekelec recently donated a van full of toys to the Toys for Tots drive held at the RBC Center. Employees for the company collected toys for the past three weeks prior to the delivery in an attempt to help out a worthy cause during the Holidays and in-turn challenge other local companies to match or exceed their donation.

Dave Rice, Sr VP Global Services & Operations (Tekelec):

“Tekelec and its employees are happy to partner with the Carolina Hurricanes to kick off the Toys for Tots drive.  We have been collecting toys for the past three weeks and challenge other local companies to join the effort to support our military families.”

The Carolina Hurricanes would like to thank Tekelec and their employees for such a noble gesture. In particular we would like to recognize:

Dave Rice, Sr. VP Global Services & Operations
Penny St. Clair-Holmes, VP Corporate Marketing
Mark Ellis, Sr. Manager Operations Business Planning
Andy Bennett, RVP Sales Eng & Planning
Steven Davis, Facilities Support
