GAME NIGHT: The Carolina Hurricanes travel to Montreal to take on the Canadiens for the first of four match-ups between the two teams…The Hurricanes enter the game with a 2-1-2-0 record after defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins October 18, 3-2 at Mellon Arena…The Hurricanes have not given up more than two goals in a game since their opening night 3-3 tie with the Washington Capitals…The Canadiens (3-3-1-0) skated to a 3-3 tie last night with the Philadelphia Flyers. The Canadiens suffered a three-game losing streak before earning one point in Philadelphia.
