Hurricanes Jeff O’Neill (11/18-11/26: 3g, 3a) and Bates Battaglia (11/18-11/26: 2g, 2a) each carry four game points streaks into the contest. O’Neill has also tallied an assist in each of the Hurricanes last three games. The Panthers have improved from their 1-9-4-3 start to the 2000-01 season having gone 4-2-0-0 since November 15. Pavel Bure leads all Florida scorers with 13 goals—10 more than his closest teammate—and seven assists.
