Press Release: HURRICANES TO HOLD ANNUAL JOB FAIR AUG. 26-27 AT ESA

PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2002-03 SEASON

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 7, 2002) – Jim Cain, President and Chief Operating Officer for the Eastern Conference champion Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that the Entertainment & Sports Arena will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27 at the Arena. Customer service opportunities range from concession servers to event operations employees.

Hired part-time employees will work at all events at the Entertainment & Sports Arena including Hurricanes hockey, N.C. State basketball, concerts and more. Interested applicants are required to show proper identification and must submit to a background check and a possible drug screening in order to be considered for employment. All applicants must be at least 18 years old. The Entertainment & Sports Arena is an Equal Opportunity employer.
