February 25, 1994 & 1995...Ron Hextall Records A Shutout Again

On this date in 1994 and 1995, Ron Hextall led his team to a shutout victory, but unfortunately the Flyers posted only a 1-1 record in those two games.

In 1994, Hextall led the New York Islanders to a 2-0 victory over the Flyers in Long Island.

After being reacquired by the Flyers in a September 22, 1994 trade with the Islanders, Hextall stopped all 18 shots faced to record the 7-0 win at Montreal. The 7-0 win is the most decisive shutout win against the Canadiens in Flyers history.
