February 15, 1994...Renberg Leads Flyers To Win

On this date in 1994, Mikael Renberg scored three goals to lead the Flyers to a 6-4 win against the Sharks in San Jose.

In a game that saw several lead changes, Renberg scored three third-period goals to secure the victory for the Flyers.

San Jose jumped out to a early 2-0 first-period lead. The Flyers took the lead into the first intermission on goals by Mark Recchi, Brent Fedyk and Eric Lindros. Two second-period goals by the Sharks left the Flyers trailing by a goal entering the third period.

Renberg finished with four points in the contest (3G,1A). Renberg would finish the 1993-94 season with 82 points to set a new team record for most points in a season by a rookie.
