Philadelphia Flyers center Mike Richards and defenseman Kimmo Timonen
were named to the NHL's Eastern Conference All-Star team on Friday. The NHL All-Star Game takes place in Atlanta on January 27 at Philips Arena. To see reaction from Richards, Timonen and coach John Stevens, click here.
Richards, in his third year in the league, leads the Flyers in goals (19), assists (28) and points (47). It will be his first career All-Star Game.
Timonen, in his eighth year in the NHL and first as a Flyer, has five goals and 15 assists for 20 points and 24 penalty minutes in 39 games this season. It will be his third appearance in the All-Star Game.
