  • The Flyers four-game unbeaten in regulation streak in the preseason at the Air Canada Centre, previously 3-0-1, got snapped on Tuesday.
  • The Flyers haven’t been shut out in a preseason game since Sept. 26, 2009 — a 1-0 loss at New Jersey.
  • Michael Del Zotto led all players in the first period with 9:27 of ice time, second period with 15:30 and through the end of the game with 22:43 of TOI.
  • Rookie defenseman Sam Morin posted the second most ice time of any player after the second period with 14:11 and finished third with a total of 21:13 of TOI.
  • Steve Mason kept the Flyers in the game, stopping several shots from the doorstep in the second period and stopped all 11 shots from the Leafs to keep it a one goal deficit through 40 minutes of play. He ended the night with 28 saves on 32 shots.
  • Taylor Leier scored two goals as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms defeated the Albany Devils, 4-2, in an AHL preseason game at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ… Shayne Gostisbehere and Petr Straka rounded out the scoring the Phantoms while Travis Sanheim and Robert Hagg each posted assists.
  • The Flyers have a complete day off from on-ice practice Wednesday and will resume practice and preseason games at home on Thursday when they take on the Devils - That game will be the first of four preseason games in a six day span.
