Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced that forward Scott Laughton will be out 3-4 weeks with a lower-body injury, while defenseman Brandon Manning is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
The announcement came after the team's morning skate in Voorhees, NJ as the Flyers prepare to take on the Rangers in tonight's preseason game at Madison Square Garden in NY.
In addition, goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been recalled from the Phantoms for tonight's game as Steve Mason is expecting to become a father. Michal Neuvirth is expected to get the start tonight.
Laughton has appeared in four preseason games for the Flyers thus far, while Manning has skated in two games this preseason, recording a +1 rating and seven shots on goal.
A full lineup for tonight's game will be announced later in the day.
