The Philadelphia Flyers announced this morning they have recalled LW Tyrell Goulbourne from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
Goulbourne was loaned to the Phantoms on Sunday, Jan. 7 after he appeared in two games for the Flyers, including his NHL debut on Saturday, Jan. 6 vs. St. Louis. In his debut, he logged 5:23 of ice time and led the team with four hits.
In his two games with the Flyers, he has averaged 5:34 of ice time and has a plus-minus rating of plus-1.
With the Phantoms, he has a total of six goals and 10 points to go along with a plus-minus rating of plus-8 in 34 games this season, his third since turning pro in 2015.
The Flyers resume practice on Friday at 4 p.m. at the club's training facility in Voorhees, NJ before the depart for Newark, NJ. They next face the Devils on Saturday at the Prudential Center in a 7 p.m. puck drop (NBCSP & 93.3 WMMR).
