Prior to the Flyers-Hurricanes game at the Wells Fargo Center, Flyers Executive Vice President and General Manager Chuck Fletcher updated the media on six injured Flyers and their status.

BRIAN ELLIOTT (Lower-body Injury)
"Brian is progressing pretty well. We are hoping he is back on the ice by this weekend and hope to get him back to practicing with the team in 10-14 days."

CORBAN KNIGHT (Upper-body Injury)
"Corban is doing very well. He will see the doctor on Jan. 17 and we expect him to be cleared to practice with the team without contact. We expect his return to play mid to late February."

ANDREW MacDONALD (Lower-body Injury)
"Will be out the next two games with a lower-body injury and are hoping to have him back skating on Monday, Jan. 7."

SAMUEL MORIN (Knee, ACL surgery)
"Samuel Morin is doing very well from his ACL reconstruction. He is back practicing full with the team but has not been cleared for contact. We are still hopeful for his return in mid-February."

NOLAN PATRICK (Upper-body Injury)
"Participated in the morning skate and is feeling very good. He will see the team doctor tonight and hopefully be cleared for contact tomorrow (Jan. 4). We hope to get him back sometime next week."

ANTHONY STOLARZ (Lower-body Injury)
"Progressing very nicely. He was seen by the doctor today for his lower-body injury. We hope to get him back on the ice by this weekend."
