1. ROAD AGAIN, BUT NOT FOR LONG
The Phantoms head out on the road for the first time in almost three weeks, with the last away game at Syracuse on Nov. 17… The Phantoms own a 4-6-0-0 road record, having lost three of their last four road games… The Phantoms won't have an extended stay on the road, because they will return home to play the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday.

2. THREE IN THREE… AGAIN
Tonight marks the first of three games in three nights for the Phantoms… It is their second '3-in-3' series of the season thus far after going 1-2-0-0 and losing the first two games of the series from Oct. 26-28.

3. AGAINST THE AMERKS
This is the third of four meetings on the year, and final tilt at Rochester… The teams split their first two meetings, each stealing home-ice advantage… Danny Syvret  (1G-1A) and Sean Couturier (2A) lead the Phantoms with two points in the season series… Each team comes into tonight's game hoping to snap a three-game winless skid with the Americans posting only one win in their last six games, going 1-4-1-0.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Rob Bordson
Not only will Phantoms forward Rob Bordson be facing his former Amerks team, he also has three goals in his last five games and points in four of his last six games for Adirondack.

5. Player to watch AMERICANS: Marcus Foligno
Buffalo's fourth-round pick (104th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft is averaging a point per game with six goals and 13 assists for 19 points so far to lead Rochester… Last season as a rookie with the Sabres, Foligno posted 13 points (6G-7A) in 14 NHL games.
