The Philadelphia Flyers have some early holiday gifts for their fans with a couple of exciting upcoming giveaways. All fans in attendance will receive a Peter Forsberg bobblehead doll courtesy of Chevrolet on Tuesday, December 6 when the Flyers take on the Calgary Flames at 7 p.m. at the Wachovia Center.
On Saturday, December 10, the first 5,000 fans 12 and under attending the Flyers vs. Minnesota Wild game at the Wachovia Center will receive a Derian Hatcher wind-up walker courtesy of Lays.
In keeping with the holiday spirit the Flyers will hold two toy drives where fans can help the Flyers donate toys to less fortunate children. On Tuesday, December 6, the Flyers are teaming up with the United States Marine Corps for a toy drive that evening. All fans attending the game that night are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the Wachovia Center. For each toy donated, fans will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win a Flyers Experience. All toys will be donated to the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. Members of the United States Marine Corps will be collecting toys until the end of the first period of the game at the Broad Street and 11th Street Atrium entrances of the Wachovia Center.
