Flyers return Konecny, Provorov, Sanheim to junior clubs

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have returned RW Travis Konecny (Ottawa, OHL), D Ivan Provorov (Brandon, WHL) and D Travis Sanheim (Calgary, WHL) to their Junior clubs, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

Provorov appeared in two preseason games for the Flyers, recording one assist in Tuesday’s 5-3 win over the Rangers where he also logged 21:25 of ice time on 25 shifts.

Konecny also appeared in two preseason games where he recorded a point in each contest. He posted a goal in the Flyers’ 5-3 win in Allentown on Monday and an assist in the Flyers’ 5-3 win over the Rangers on Tuesday.

Sanheim made his preseason debut in the club’s win over the Rangers on Tuesday where he recorded one shot on goal and 18:56 of ice time on 24 shifts.

The Flyers training camp roster is currently at 55 players.
