Prior to taking the ice for practice on Friday, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that the club has reduced their training camp roster by two players.
The following players have been loaned to the club's AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:
39 (LW) - Tyrell Goulbourne
81 (LW) - Carsen Twarynski
Goulbourne appeared in two preseason games for the Flyers: a 3-1 win over the NY Islanders on Sept. 17, where he logged 10:56 of ice time, had three hits and one five-minute fighting major, and Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers where he appeared in 10:21 of TOI and led all players in the game with nine hits.
Twarynski appeared in five of the club's seven preseason games thus far. He recorded and goal and an assist for two points on eight shots on goal. In addition to his five preseason games, he played in the Flyers-Islanders rookie game on Sept. 12 where he recorded a goal and an assist in the 6-3 win on Long Island.
The Flyers have one final preseason game remaining when they take on the Bruins in Boston on Saturday at 5 p.m. (NHL Network & 97.5 The Fanatic).
The Flyers Training Camp roster is now at 31 players.
