The Philadelphia Flyers announced they have recalled forward Andy Andreoff from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and have loaned forward Mikhail Vorobyev to the Phantoms.
The announcements were made on Friday morning by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.
Andreoff receives his first recall to the Flyers this season. He has appeared in all 10 games for the Phantoms thus far, recording seven points (3g-4a) which is T-2nd on the team in scoring. Andreoff has recorded points in four of his last five games in Lehigh Valley, posting four points (1g-3a) in that stretch.
The 28-year-old from Pickering, Ontario was acquired by the Flyers during Free Agency this past summer, signing a two-year contract on July 1. He has appeared in 159 games in the NHL, all with the Los Angeles Kings from 2014-15 through 2017-18, recording a total of 24 points (13g-11a).
Vorobyev has appeared in six games this season, including Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canadiens. He has one assist and averaged 8:49 of ice time.
