The Philadelphia Flyers have re-launched their website with a brand new look and feel, becoming one of several NHL teams to roll over to the new, league-wide design.
The new website features all of the content previously on philadelphiaflyers.com, but in an innovative, more user-friendly format. It will continue to bring Flyers fans all of the breaking news, statistics, interviews, injury reports, transactions and in-depth profiles of current players, prospects, and alumni, while allowing for better utilization of multimedia elements such as message boards, audio and video that can only be found on philadelphiaflyers.com.
“The new website will allow us to inform and connect with our fan base more than ever before,” said Flyers Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Shawn Tilger. “NHL and Flyers fans are among the most tech-savvy in all of professional sports, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring them the latest innovations in new media technology.”
Currently, philadelphiaflyers.com is profiling 30 of the top draft-eligible prospects in alphabetical order as part of its coverage leading up to the 2007 NHL Entry Draft in Columbus, Ohio on June 22 and 23.
