Flyers Mini-Puck Collection Now Available

The Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News are teaming up for a one-of-a kind keepsake that is a must-have for every Flyers fan. The Flyers mini puck set features the Flyers 24-man roster and Head Coach Ken Hitchcock. As part of Fan Appreciation Day, all fans entering the Wachovia Center for the Flyers-Buffalo Sabres game on Saturday, March 11, 2006 will receive a full-color glossy album where the pucks can be housed.

"The Flyers truly have the best fans in all of sports and we are excited to be a part of this unique collectors item which we know they will enjoy," said Flyers Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Shawn Tilger.

Starting on Sunday, March 12, the Philadelphia Inquirer is giving away a free Mini Puck Collector's Album redeemable at participating retailers with the coupon in Sunday's Inquirer. Then, for 28 consecutive days, beginning on Monday, March 13, fans can continue to clip the "Mini Puck Coupon" from the Philadelphia Inquirer or Philadelphia Daily News and take it to participating retailers to purchase that day's mini puck for only $2.99 each. Bonus Coupons will be available in Saturday's papers that will allow fans to purchase any previously released mini puck they may have missed.

Participating retailers include: Flyers Skate Zones (Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsauken Voorhees and Atlantic City) ACME, Clemens, Heritage Dairy, Giant Food, Super-Fresh, Swiss Farms, Pathmark, participating newsstands, Thriftway, and select 7-Elevens.
