The Flyers play the second of games on back-to-back days, after dropping a 3-2 shootout loss to Rangers on Saturday… They own a 3-4-0 record in the second of games on back-to-back days… The Flyers also own a 3-1-2 record in daytime starts… The Flyers have allowed just eight goals in their six daytime starts, outscoring their opponent, 15-8… The Capitals come into today’s game also playing the second of back-to-backs, earning a 3-2 shootout win over the Devils on Saturday… In the second game, the Caps have earned points in seven of nine games and are 6-2-1… Washington also owns a 2—0-1 mark in daytime starts with all three games going past regulation… The Caps are a perfect 3-0-0 on Sundays, while the Flyers are 1-1-0.
