The Flyers resume their home-and-home series with the Devils tonight after taking the first game by a 4-0 shut out victory on Thursday… The Flyers are winless on the road in the preseason thus far, losing a back-to-back road swing in London. Ont. and Toronto, both to the Maple Leafs… Over the last eight preseasons, the Flyers own a record of 7-8-1 against the Devils, but have a 1–6-1 mark on the road with their lone victory coming in 2007.

The Flyers lead the NHL in preseason power play, going 40 percent and scoring on eight of 20 opportunities… They are most dangerous in the first period, operating at 50 percent (4-for-8)… The Flyers have had six different players score on the man-advantage with only Brayden Schenn and Vincent Lecavalier scoring twice.

The Flyers have scored 11 goals through four games, including a 4-0 shutout loss at Toronto… Mark Streit (1g-4a) and Jakub Voracek (1g-4a) are tied for the NHL preseason lead with five points each, having played only two games thus far… The Flyers have had 43 players suit up in at least one preseason game thus far, while the Devils have had 38... Scott Clemmensen will get the start in net for the Devils tonight while Rob Zepp will go for the Flyers.

4. PLAYER TO WATCH - FLYERS: (C: #41 - Blair Jones)
Jones continues to impress the coaching staff during the preseason… He has three points, all assists, in two of his preseason outings and is a plus-1, while averaging over 15 minutes of ice-time per game… The Flyers signed Jones to a one-year contract on the first day of Free Agency… He was selected in the fourth round (102nd overall) in 2005 by the Tampa Bay Lightning and has played 128 NHL games in his career (7g-10a)

5. PLAYER TO WATCH - DEVILS: (D: #22 - Eric Gelinas)
Through two preseason games, Gelinas has posted a goal and an assist from the blueline and is a plus-1 while firing a team-high eight shots on goal… The 23-year-old defenseman is coming off his first full season in the NHL after being selected in the second round (54th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Devils… He recorded 29 points (7g-22a) in 60 games for the Devils last season.
