The scrimmage was a culmination of the week-long camp, in which 41 prospects were in town to train, practice and get to know one another.

The black team jumped out to a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Andreas Nodl and Frederik Cabana. Lars Jonsson cut that lead to 2-1 with a goal in the second period.

After the black team increased its lead back to two goals, the white team responded to force overtime on goals by Jonathan Kalinski and Stefan Ruzicka, who lifted a pretty wrist shot from the slot into the top corner over the shoulder of goaltender Martin Houle with less than five minutes left.

Anderson’s slap shot through traffic won the game for the black team, however, as the puck found daylight past goaltender Jakub Kovar.

Flyers Assistant Coach Joe Mullen coached the winning black team, while Phantoms Assistant Coach Kjell Samuelsson stood behind the white team’s bench.

Flyers 2005 first-round draft choice Steve Downie did not play in the game, not wanting to take any chances with his shoulder that was operated on earlier this summer.
