The 2016 World Championships wrapped up their preliminary round on Tuesday and with it the tournament ends for Flyers participants: France’s Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Switzerland’s Christian Marti.
France fell to Belarus, 3-0, in their final game on Tuesday with Bellemare appearing in nearly 20 minutes of ice time (19:49), the second most of his seven games in the tournament.

He also averaged 18:44 of ice-time which is over five minutes more than his average from the Flyers this past season.
For Marti, he finishes his first World Championships gaining experience after appearing in four games, going scoreless while averaging 7:10 per game. Switzerland went 2-2-3 and had seven of their eight games decided by one goal.
