Slovakia 4, Belarus 2

Slovakia started their tournament off with a 4-2 win over Belarus on Sunday. Lukas Hursik scored the game-winner 19 seconds into the third period while Patrik Koch, Filip Lestan, and Juraj Siska also chipped in with goals for Slovakia. Slovakian netminder Adam Huska made 24 saves for his country.

Vadim Malinovski and Ruslan Vasilchuk scored for Belarus.

Denmark 2, Switzerland 1

The Swiss dropped their second straight game at the tournament when they were edged by the Danes on Sunday. Switzerland's Noah Rod kicked off the scoring but Soeren Nielsen and Mathias From replied for Denmark in the third period. Swiss goaltender Joren van Pottelberghe made 20 saves while Danish netminder Thomas Lillie made 22 saves.
