TEAM EUROPE VS. CZECH REPUBLIC AT 1:00 PM MT - SPORTSNET

Michael Frolik and the Czech Republic are looking to get back on track today when they face off against Team Europe. The Czechs dropped their opening match-up to Canada on Saturday, falling 6-0.

"We (made) lots of mistakes," Czech Republic assistant coach Jaroslav Spacek told NHL.com. "We probably gave them four goals. That's how they've got to change, play more probably simple game ... We've got to stay away from those mistakes. It's a sunny day, so we've got to stay alive."

In the Czech Republic's loss to Canada, Frolik had 12:21 of ice time and was a minus-one. In pretournament action, the Flames' winger had one assist and was plus-one in three games.

Team Europe picked up a win in their first game at the tournament defeating the USA 3-0 on Saturday.

TEAM NORTH AMERICA VS. RUSSIA AT 6:00 PM MT - SPORTSNET

Flames winger Johnny Gaudreau scored the game-winner for Team North America on Sunday when they defeated Finland 4-1 in their opening contest at the tournament.

"We're here to play," Gaudreau told NHL.com after the win. "Hopefully teams don't take us lightly. I think we're a fast, speed, skilled team and hopefully we can keep proving people we belong here."

In Sunday's win over Finland, Gaudreau had 14:07 of ice time, put three shots on net, had one takeaway, and was a plus-one.

Russia dropped their first game at the tournament, falling 2-1 to Mikael Backlund and Sweden on Sunday afternoon.
